Removing animals is half the job. If you do not seal the house, new ones find the same entry points within weeks. TriState Wildlife performs comprehensive wildlife exclusion on residential and commercial properties across New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. We inspect every inch of the roofline, foundation, soffits, vents, and under-structure areas. Every gap, crack, and vulnerability is sealed with professional-grade materials that animals cannot penetrate. Our exclusion work is informed and guided by the knowledge of a master carpenter and backed by an industry-leading written guarantee.
"They sealed every soffit, vent, and gap on the house. The work looks like it was built that way."

How We Work
Our Exclusion Process
We start with a comprehensive inspection of the entire structure. To ensure we do not miss a spot, some inspections utilize drone technology and internal flex cameras. We check every square inch of the home that is vulnerable to animal entry. This includes the roofline, ridge vents, gable vents, soffits, fascia, chimney flashing, pipe penetrations, utility entries, foundation, garage door seals, under-deck areas, and crawl space access points.
We identify every current and potential entry point and create a written scope of work. You approve the scope before we start. No surprises.
We seal every identified point using professional-grade materials matched to the species and the structure. If needed we rebuild sections of the home to make them heartier and more resistant to future animal entry. Materials are color-matched to the structure so the work blends in.
Our exclusion technicians are trained not just in wildlife removal, but also in carpentry. The work is not just functional. It looks professional. When we seal a soffit, it looks like it was built that way.

The TriState Difference
Two Questions to Ask About Any Guarantee
Our warranty isn't marketing. It's what happens when work is built to last. Two distinctions separate a real guarantee from a line on a flyer.
Length. Industry answers vary widely. Some companies offer 6 to 12 months. Some offer nothing in writing at all. TriState's warranties are the longest in the industry: 10 years on most animal work, 25 years on bat exclusion. The bat warranty is also transferable. It stays with the house when you sell, which becomes a real asset at closing.
Scope. Ask what the guarantee actually covers. Many competitors will list a set of entry points they've sealed, and guarantee only those specific points. If an animal enters a foot to the left or right of those points, you're on your own. If an animal chews a new entry point somewhere else, you're on your own.
TriState doesn't work this way. Where a comprehensive guarantee is possible, we offer one. That means the entire home is protected against wildlife entry, not just the points we sealed during the original job. Period.

Pricing depends on the size of the home, number of entry points, and materials needed. We provide a free inspection and a written scope of work before quoting. No hidden fees.
Every exclusion point we seal is backed by a written guarantee. If any animal re-enters through any point we sealed, we come back and fix it at no cost. If a full home exclusion (comprehensive) is chosen, then the guarantee extends to the entire home other than any optional exclusions the homeowner chooses. Our bat guarantee is transferable if you sell the property.
Yes. We color-match all materials to the existing structure where possible. All of our work is informed by a knowledge of carpentry. With rare exceptions, the work is designed to be as close to invisible as possible.
We offer both. If you have a specific animal problem, we seal the active entry points. But for comprehensive protection, a full home exclusion seals every potential entry point so you never deal with wildlife again. We recommend the full exclusion for homeowners that have had animal issues for more than a week, have had recurring issues, or live in areas with dense wildlife populations.
Time for completion varies according to the type of animals being prevented, the scope of work, current wait lists, and weather. For example, most deck seals are completed in 1 to 3 days of active work depending on the size. However, a comprehensive bat or flying squirrel seal can take 1-2 weeks. We do our best to work efficiently and minimize disruption.
Yes. A complete exclusion includes every vulnerability on the structure. The primary areas at risk vary depending upon the animal type. When needed we install heavy-duty stainless chimney caps, critter guard around solar panel arrays, and buried permanent barriers around decks, porches, sheds, and crawl spaces. The roof is only one of the areas animals can exploit.
Most exclusion work can be done year-round, though it is not always feasible to remove the animals during specific times of year. For example, bat evictions are restricted during the late-May through August maternity season per regulations. However, even if we are not in an optimal time for removal, preliminary exclusion work will save time and guarantee animal removal during the optimal removal windows. If you have an active wildlife problem, call now. If you're doing preventive exclusion before a problem starts, the optimal time will vary depending upon the animal being prevented. Contact us and we will create a detailed plan that is customized to your home and goals.
